Umbrella Arts’ staff and guest instructors are high caliber, experienced professionals with national and international performance, choreography, directorial, and educational credit and expertise. Creative Writing;
Age 10-18

Learn new tools to create your own stories and poems! In this class, we will focus on a range of forms and writerly practices while giving students plenty of room to experiment and express their creativity. We will also read from a variety of authors and poets to get inspired together.

Adult Creative Writing;
Age 18 and over

This class is perfect for both experienced and beginner creative writers, in this class we will explore multiple genres. With creative prompts and plenty of room for experimentation and collaboration, be read to explore new creative practices! This class is also an excellent opportunity for artists in other mediums to try something new.
